Even though my last post was about the coming of Spring, it’s still quite cold in Holland, but I must admit that part of me is happy for some colder weather because I get to wear this sweater!
A wonderful friend of mine knitted this for me and I couldn’t be happier. I just hope I get some more use out of it this season before it’s stored with the winter clothes.
It’s been a city of a chaos here in the Netherlands, since the snow started coming down yesterday morning. My 20 minute train commute turned into a 3.5 hour struggle to get home using any means of transportation possible.
Luckily we’re safely inside for the weekend and, of course, everything looks really pretty! I’m just not looking forward to scraping the ice off of my bike. Ohhh the perils of Dutch life.
