A collection of some items left behind in Iowa, while although they are far away, they make quite a nice collage and are far from forgotten.

Left: Puppy lamp I stole from my Mom’s stash to sell on ebay

Midwest Treasures
We survived the Iowa heat, during Sturgis Falls, and I restrained myself from plastering the town with my posters. Now we’re finally back from a very relaxing and replenishing vacation. Who knew the Midwest could make someone feel so much better.
Besides soaking up the sun, water skiing, fishing and playing lots of cribbage, I also found time to scour some of my favorite second hand shops and lots of new ones as well. Below are a few of my findings and what not a better backdrop than my parent’s lake home.

These baseball poodles were so random and ugly I had to snatch them up for 50 cents a piece. They have now found a home at my parents house, I hope they don’t mind:)

Found this Fanny Farmer tin in a small town in Minnesota. I love the illustrations.

Also found this sugar dish. It’s in such great condition and made in the USA.

Well, the hat is not old, It came from Target but I love the vintage feel and the flower details. And my grandmother gave me this book that belonged to her. She explained that she had to buy a book when she was a girl, for school, and because she doesn’t like to read she bought this book of short war stories.
Glad I brought a big suitcase
