A collection of some items left behind in Iowa, while although they are far away, they make quite a nice collage and are far from forgotten.

We’ve been working a lot on our new apartment and although there’s still a lot of details to be done, it feels like home. I don’t have photos of the whole ‘kit and caboodle’ yet but here’s a few snapshots of random places in our home.

This chair was found on a rainy day at the Noordermarkt for a whopping 5 euro. Along with the pre-war lamp below…

The great thing about moving is that your furniture finds new purposes to fit the new place. It feels refreshing to use things in a new way.
