Once a year, The Netherlands turns into a country-wide yard sale (amongst other things) for Queen’s Day and this year I made sure we hit the best spots in Amsterdam.

There were so many great things but after a few hours it was hard to decide if what you wanted to buy was really that fantastic or if your eyes were just going all wibly on you.

In the end I did purchase a few of these books because I thought the book covers were great and perhaps they may even be at my Dutch level to try and read some old detective stories.

Sneaked this photo of a sink plug and it’s illustrative box. It’s ideal!

I also walked away with about 10 sheets of old transfer letters including different sizes of Baskerville, Univers, and Futura. Can’t wait to try these out on a design project old school style.
