Picking fresh mint out of the garden (read balcony flowerpot) and putting the kettle on means drinking deliciousness on this fine summer evening.
Pentagram celebrates their 40th anniversary with this lovely video about their first 4 decades. I’m privileged to have visited their London firm in 2006.

Delicious milk, not only because it’s from a local farm just outside Amsterdam but because it’s in a glass bottle. heeeerlijk!
Another Queen’s Day survived and spent in my favorite place…NDSM wharf.

Why do I love this place? Because you can enjoy outdoor living room sets, people living and selling out of their train car homes and old airplanes to play in with some cotton candy on the side.

A trip to &K with a gift certificate in hand, meant I came home with a Marimekko teapot! Trust me, tea tastes much better now.

I think this USA mirror is just screaming for a home in the Netherlands. Designed by Object and only $1,350. Donations are welcome!

Google went Marimekko today for its doodle! Why… to commemorate spring equinox! Love it.

Have you ever thought to yourself…”what typeface do I speak in?”
After viewing this poster from “The Bald Sopranos” (1964) it made me think. And if I were to answer it I’d like to say I speak mostly in Bodoni, with it’s thick and thin strokes, serif type… sometimes saying less but still making a strong impact.
Who knows but it’s nice to think of people by their font.
